The VERN project (website: VERN.org) is creating a Volunteer Emergency Radio Network toolkit for any community to have a secure/authenticated, robust, citizen-operated public safety communications capability.

For the latest info about the Cobb Area Volunteer Emergency Radio Network, the first test community for the VERN project’s radio mesh network, please visit the CAVERN website either at CAVERN.mobi (current community organizing) or at VERN.org/cobb (site under construction, R&D).
